The Background
When cubeecraft.com first launched, the site consisted of a static home page which listed all of the models and a static page for each download. Once the site began to gain popularity, founder Chris Beaumont realized this model would not do.
The Project
Using CodeIgniter, a dynamic site was developed that allowed Chris to enter the information about each model and have all necessary site changes appear. This new database-driven system allowed for the grouping and linking of related models.
While the new system was being built, Chris also decided to come up with a new design. A custom theme was created for the cubeelog WordPress blog to match the main site.
